The popular Lebanese superstar refused a marriage proposal from a wealthy Khaliji (from the Gulf Countries) man who presented her a 100 million dollars and an Island in Spain to put in her name after they are married.

Sources close to the singer said that had refused the proposal despite being offered an island in Spain where they would spend their honeymoon.

said that her freedom is more precious than anything in life. On the other hand, ’s family members and close friends were surprised by her refusal, because they tried hard to convince her to agree.

Nancy Ajram celebrates her 25th birthday

Nancy was scheduled to perform at the festival on May 17, but since the airport in Beirut was still closed and she had to travel to Syria by care and then to Jordan. She then flew to Tunisia and then on to Morocco.

Next Nancy will head to Dubai to hold performances.

Nancy held a press conference before the festival. A French journalist asked her about her dreams as she is celebrating her birthday and Nancy replied, “Ana Bahlam Beek” (I Dream about you).

The French journalist asked Nancy to answer in French, since she speaks the language well, but she chose to respond in Arabic to the room’s approval.

Nancy is a fan of both music talent shows “Superstar” and “Star Academy.” She believes there are only a few who have a really beautiful voice.

Nancy was asked if she is competing with the famous Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi. “I am out of the competition circle,” said Nancy.

Elissa can’t sing while Lebanon suffers

Lebanese superstar will host the final episode of the music talent show “Star Academy.”

The talent show, aired on LBC, has been limited to inviting guests from inside Lebanon due to the crisis.

According to the London daily Elaph, will perform “Ayami Beek” (My days with You) from her latest album, which has been a great hit among young Arab listeners.

The “Star Academy” celebration will be ’s first performance since the crises in Lebanon erupted. She stopped hosting concerts due to the situation in her beloved country.

She hopes that Lebanon will be safe and stable once again so that she will be able to go anywhere to sing.

Whitney Houston, Nancy Ajram wow Mawazine festival audience in Rabat

For nine days in Rabat, the seventh annual Mawazine Festival drew a sizeable crowd from all over Morocco who came to see high-calibre concerts given by internationally renowned performers.Whitney Houston and Nancy Ajram in Rabat

Whitney Houston wowed the audience on May 24th with an open-air concert to close out the festival, giving an excited crowd the opportunity to discover and admire the singer’s husky, sensual voice. Her young fans held up banners saying “We love you, Whitney”.

This final concert of the festival, given by American superstar of the 1980s and 90s will go down in Rabat history, which had never before played host to such a major star.

The organisers of the festival believe that the seventh Mawazine was a resounding success. Aziz Daki, the technical director, said the five concert venues sold out completely on three of the nine days of the festival.

The Moroccan public came out in force and appreciated the calibre of the artists, who lit up Rabat for the whole of the nine days.

For nine days Rabat was serenaded by leading Moroccan and international artists, who gave about 100 concerts.

During press conferences, many of the stars expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to perform in Morocco.

Lebanese singer expressed her delight at appearing before the Moroccan public. She said they were attentive listeners and they have great appreciation for valuable and genuine art. Her concert, held on the third day of the festival, drew an audience estimated at over 30,000 people.
