Elissa short on dresses

2:16 pm Stars News

Elissa gave two consecutive concert performances wearing the exact same dress, causing concern amongst her critics that she may be facing a shortage of clothing. The first performance was held two months ago on the Muslim holiday Eid Al Adha in Bahrain and the second on Valentine’s Day in Egypt.

This is the second time Elissa has been criticized for her attire, the first being when she and Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi appeared in the exact same dress.

On a different note, despite the success of her recent concert in Egypt at the City Stars Intercontinental Hotel, Elissa was furious with the concert agent. She claims that the agent did not comply with the conditions of their contract.

The agent sent samples of advertising posters, but later used a completely different set of posters in the streets of Cairo, according to Elissa.

The contract also stated that the concert would be divided into two sections for her and the second for Egyptian singer Mohammad Hamaki. She was surprised to discover that a third section was added for controversial Egyptian belly dancer Dina.

Angry over the new program, the singer decided to give her performance at the beginning of the event, prompting a large number of the audience to leave after Elissa sang a collection of her most popular hits for 45 minutes.

Elissa conquered the title of the highest paid singer to perform on Valentine’s Day with for US$75,000.
