The Lebanese artist Pascal Machalani recently join the crew of the second part of the Tunisian drama series “Maktoob” (Written). The series is produced by ‘Cactus.’ The first part of the series was aired on the Tunisian channel 7 last Ramadan season.

According to the London daily Elaph, Pascal will play the role of a music artist. Sources close to Bascal estimate that she will receive USD100, 000 for her role in the series.

The drama series “Maktoob” had generated great controversy in the press, because it deals with sensitive social issues that are not discussed in the open.

The Tunisian actress Durah Riziq played the leading role in the first part of the series.
