The famous Lebanese artist Elissa hosted a New Year’s Eve celebration at the Simaris Hotel in Cairo. She arrived a week early in Egypt to rehearse for her performance.

Elissa performed songs from her new album, for the first time, that was launched by the end of 2009. The new album features ten songs , including “Mish Fakrak” (I Don’t Remember You), “Byistahi” (He’s Shy), “Sho Behib” (He Loves A lot), “Insani” (Forget Me) and “Min Ghair Monasabah” (There is No Occasion).

Elissa has finished her photo shoot on location at the Centra Castle in Portugal for the cover of the new album. She worked with international photographer Mathias Clamer, who she also worked with on the covers of two previous albums.
