A Dubai court has overturned a previous ruling against the famous Syrian artist Asala Nasri.

The first ruling ordered Asala to pay an Emirati businessman 542, 570 Emirati Dirham for breaking a contract with him.

The details of the case go back to when Asala’s lawyer had made an agreement with the Emirati businessman back in 2004, where the businessman would supervise all of the art affairs that the famous Syrian artist has.

There was also an agreement of producing 20 different musical albums for Asala in a period of 10 years which when the contract would end. The Emirati businessman would also film two video clips from every album that he’ll produce for Asala.

The conditions on the contract were very clear where it included that Asala is not allowed to sign a musical contract with any other person without the consent of the Emirati businessman.

Once the Emirati businessman gives his agreement on signing with another party, Asala will then pay him 50% of whatever she’ll make through the specific deal with the third party.

Both Asala and the Emirati businessman agreed to follow up with the contract, because once it is broken by either party then a fine of 5 million American dollars should be paid by whoever breaks off the deal.

The famous Syrian artist Asala Nasri denied reports that she contracted a disease and had to travel to the United States for treatment.

Asala said that she went to the United States for medical examinations because she was suffering from bad headaches.

She saw a specialist there who confirmed she does not have a more serious health problem, said Asala.

The doctor said the headaches were caused by stress and advised her to take a break and rest for a while.

Asala is getting ready to launch her new album, which includes songs in the ‘Khaliji’ (Gulf Countries) dialect. Asala released a previous ‘Khaliji’ album in 2006 called “La Tkhaf” (Don’t Be Afraid).

يذكر أن المطربة الكبيرة أصالة تعرضت لأكثر من شائعة سخيفة خلال الأيام الماضية، فقد انتشرت شائعة حول وجود خلافات عنيفة بينها وبين زوجها المخرج طارق العريان بعد اكتشافها وجود اختلافات عديدة بين طباعها وطباعه بعد الزواج وأنها خشيت من اتخاذ قرار الانفصال حتى لا يشمت أحد فيها.

كما انتشرت شائعة عن إصابتها بسرطان المخ مما اضطرها كما قيل للسفر لأمريكا للعلاج وتزامن ذلك مع وجودها بأمريكا بالفعل لإحياء مجموعة من الحفلات للجاليات العربية هناك.

وقد قامت أصالة بالرد على هذه الشائعة واصفة إياها بأنها سخيفة ومغرضة.

Najwa Karam is upset with some of her colleagues in the music business.

According to the Jordanian daily Al Rai, Najwa was shocked when the Syrian artist Asala decided to leave the leading Arab production company ‘Rotana’.

Najwa said that she attended many sessions with Asala and that she alked about the importance of being part of a major production company like ‘Rotana.’ Najwa believes that Asala’s decision to leave ‘Rotana’ is a loss for both parties.

Najwa said that the decision by many famous artists to leave ‘Rotana’ does not reflect negatively on the company, because every artist has his or her own situation.

Najwa decided to stay with ‘Rotana’ and to renew her contract without adding any new conditions.

On other grounds, the relationship between Najwa and the famous Lebanese artist Wael Kfoury is still tense after Wael did not show up for a meeting that Najwa arranged for him with the president of ‘Rotana’ Mr. Salem Al Hindi.

Najwa said that Kfoury did not have a good excuse for his absence, and that she only made the appointment for Kfoury’s advantage.

Lebanese artist Elissa was able to reunite Kfoury and Al Hindi at her birthday party.

رفضت أصالة الرد على الملحن حلمي بكر بعد اتهامها بسرقة أغنية “ما قلتليش من الأول ليه”. يذكر أن الأغنية من ألحانه وسبق أن قدمتها أصالة بصوتها عام 1998.

ثم أعادت توزيعها وقدمتها مع فرقة “وسط البلد” أخيراً من دون أن تشير إلى اسم الملحن، ما دفع حلمي بكر إلى رفع دعوى قضائية ضدها اتهمها فيها بالسطو على الأغنية وتشويه اللحن بإعادة توزيعه بشكل سيء.

Director Nader Jalal denied rumors that the Syrian artist Asala Nasri sang the song for the new television drama series “Dil Al Muhareb” (Warrior Shadow).

The new series was written by Bashir Al Deek and will star Egyptian actors Hisham Salim, Ola Ghanem, Abed Al Rahman Abu Zahrah, Maysarah and Syrian actor Basem Yakhour.

Nadar Jalal said that he would be happy to have Asala to sing the opening and ending songs for the drama series, but he is still in the editing stage.

استغرق تصوير الكليب الذي تم تصويره في بيروت وتحديداً في فيللا سرسق، ثلاثة أيام، وأعلن المنتج المنفذ للكليب ان قصته إستعراضية حيث تتبدل أصاله باللوك والماكياج وحتى الازياء وتنضج أناقة وحباً، فضلا عن الرومانسية التي يشيعها طارق العريان في الرؤية والسيناريو وحتى أدق التفاصيل التي بدت جديدة على أصالة.

ارتدت أصالة في الكليب الزهري والأخضر بكافة ألوانه ومتفرعاته استطاعت أن تلبي طلبات المخرج وهي لطالما وثقت به وباسلوبه في الاخراج والتصوير وتمايلت قليلاً في بعض المشاهد على وقع الموسيقى وامام فرقة خاصة تدربت على حسن الأداء والدخول في صميم الأغنية بصورة تتناسب معها.

تجدر الاشارة إلي أن طارق العريان ظهر من قبل كموديل في كليبات آصالة وذلك من خلال أغنيتين “اكتر” و “بين ايديك”.
