A Cairo court has dropped a case filed against the famous Lebanese artist Haifa Wahby, after the Nubian Egyptian Lawyer’s Association withdrew their complaint.

The Nubian Association, a non-Arab minority in Egypt, said they had accepted Haifa’s apology and commended her removal of degrading lyrics from her song “Baba Feen” (Where Is Daddy).

During the hearing on 22 December, Haifa’s lawyer presented the court with a record of the new song lyrics that omitted the phrase “Nubian Monkey.”

Haifa’s lawyer said that Haifa removed the offensive lyrics after she bought the rights to the song from the writer Mustafa Kamel.

Haifa’s lawyer apologized on her behalf and asserted her respect for the Nubian people.

Haifa’s lawyer also said that the new copy of the song without the offensive lyrics had been distributed to all earth and satellite channels, and that it is now their responsibility not to air the previous version.

The president of the Nubian Association said that he considers the removal of the offensive lyrics a victory for the Nubian people.

الفنانة هيفاء وهبي قالت بأن فكرة البرنامج جميلة وبريئة وتعرف الناس إلى عالم الأطفال، ومن الضروري أن تكون للأطفال برامج خاصة بهم مثل “ستار صغار” والبرنامج الفرنسي l’ecole des fans الذي كان يقدمه جاك مارتان.

وذكرت أنها في طفولتها شاركت في برنامج “عالم الصغار” مع المذيعة مها سلمى. وكشفت أنها تمتلك جمهوراً كبيراً من الأطفال ما دفعها لتخصيص ألبوم غنائي كامل لهم ليس لمجرد أنهم صغار السن بل كونهم أبناء جيل واع.

ولم تخف هيفاء وهبي أنها كانت تتحين الفرصة للإطلالة في برنامج للصغار عبر القنوات المختصة بعالمهم ووجدت الدعوة حققت لها ما تصبو إليه فغنت في البرنامج على مسافة واحدة من الصغار الذين غنوا أغانيها بدورهم.

The famous Lebanese artist Haifa Wahby is getting ready to sing in Iraq this month.

Great security measures are being taken place to insure Haifa’s safety.

Haifa will be the second Lebanese artist to recently perform in Iraq. Najwa Karam performed at concerts in the Iraqi cities Irbeel and Suleimanyeh.

Haifa is putting the final touches on her latest children’s album. Haifa’s new video clip for the song “Baba Feen” (Where Is Daddy), included on the new album, has been a great success.

Surprisingly and with no prior preparations, the famous Lebanese artist Haifa Wahby visited the new Cancer Hospital for Children in Egypt. Everyone who worked at the hospital was very eager to see her.

The young patients at the hospital were also glad to see her and welcomed her by presenting flowers to her. It was the children’s request for her visit especially after the making of her newest children song and Haifa made their wish come true.

Haifa commented by saying she has been wanting to come and to see the hospital for the longest time and wanted to ease the wounds of these young and innocent patients. Haifa also points out that she was not able to make the visit early, because it would be said that she was only trying to achieve success using the medical condition of the children, and that is not the case the least bit.

She added that the sight of the children really breaks her heart and makes her cry just thing of the pain they are suffering.

Haifa started her visit by donating a large sum of money for research and she refused to make a public announcement of the amount of money she gave.

She also encourages other stars to donate money for scientific research and for charity. Haifa went to different rooms that had little sick patients and she joined them in drawing pictures and having small chats with them.

The famous Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alama denied what has been said that he will be participating in a new song with his colleague famous Lebanese artist Haifa Wahby. Alameh clears out not making a duet song with Wehbe by saying: “Haifa is a famous artist who is also a friend of his, and when he thinks of a duet song together the project is possible.”

He adds that “they can draw a love story between a guy and a flirty girl, but the problem that stands in the way is that Haifa is part of “Rotana” and that would make the idea of a duet impossible.”

The famous superstar points out that there is great chaos in the art and music field after the introduction of new technology that with special effects can alter a person’s voice and make them sound as if they can sing. He said that individuals who use these technologies are considered to have “voice plastic surgeries” going on inside the studios.

He also said that production companies in the Arab world are at their worse stages and that will have a negative effect on the production of any art work, because the level of music production is getting worse.

As for an artist show business age and whether an artist should set a date for retirement, Alameh said that “he tried most of his life to focus on the next step and doesn’t occupy his thoughts with what will come afterward.” He stated that he doesn’t know for sure whether he wants to continue singing or if he ever decides to retire, but for the time being he wants to only focus on his next album.

Haifa Wahby and Ragheb Alama performed on the New Year 2010 together in a concert that blew all other New Year’s Eve concerts to smithereens!

Haifa and Ragheb entertained around 1500 spectators, who came from all over the world, specifically from France, Australia, Iraq, Egypt, Tunisia and Kurdistan, in a huge concert at Beirut Biel Center.

The famous Lebanese artist Haifa Wahby revealed that she had written her will for all her personal belongings.

She also points out that she is thinking of making a private show for all her clothes and shoes where she invites the wealthy people to buy and all the proceeds will be donated to charities in poor countries.

She said that these belongings are dear to her heart but she is willing to give it to those who need them more than she does.

Haifa stated that she had written her will because “no one knows what faith has for oneself”. On the other hand, Haifa said that the details of her will will be kept a secret.

The famous Lebanese artist Haifa Wahby hosted a live performance for the closing celebration of the Formula One Yacht Races held in Abu Dhabi.

According to the London daily Elaph,Haifa’s appearance drew a large crowd, despite the fact that her performance was not previously advertised for intensely.

Haifa glowed as she performed some of her greatest hits like “Rajab, Bos Al Wawa, Ya Ibn Al Halal”.

After her performance Haifa traveled to Beirut to participate in a marathon.

The Lebanese artist Rola Saed has refused to make amends with the Lebanese artist Haifa Wehbe.

Rola declined an invitation that she received from the former Miss Lebanon Sawsan Al Sayed, in an effort to settle things between Rola and Haifa.

Rola accused Haifa of conspiring with journalists to hurt her and her family.

Haifa has accused Rola of working with the journalist Nidal Al Ahmadyeh to fabricate an adult film about her.

Rola will film a new video clip for the song “Rabna Yesma’ Minak” (May God Hear from You) next week with the Lebanese director Yehya Sa’adeh. Rola sings the song “Rabna Yesma’ Minak” with a Tunisian artist.

Rola has finished recording most of the songs for her upcoming album. The new album will be produced by the leading Arab production company “Rotana” and will be launched in stores around the New Year.

The famous Lebanese artist Haifa Wahby denied a report published by “Al Jaras Scoop” that claimed she will leave ‘Rotana’ and the cause of her departure is due to a concert she will host with the famous Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alama.

Haifa recently hosted a live concert recently with Lebanese stars Assi El Hellani and Nawal Al Zoghby.
